is pleased to offer the following Courses in Dublin.
FOUNDATION DIPLOMA IN SHIPPING
and
ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN SHIPPING
These diplomas are accredited by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in London. They are suitable for those involved in the world of shipping, liner trades, transport, freight forwarding, port operations and ship agency work.
The Foundation Diploma is principally intended for those new to the Industry.
The Advanced Diploma is intended for those who have some basic knowledge of shipping but who feel at the initial stage that the PQE is too much for them to undertake.
The Courses will receive support from the Irish Maritime Development Office (www.imdo.ie)
Course Programmes
The Foundation Diploma Course covers Introduction to Shipping and a choice of (a) Port Agency or (b) Liner Trades.
The Advanced Diploma Course covers Shipping Business and a choice of (a) Port Agency or (b) Liner Trades.
Duration
The course runs from 1030 – 1700 hours on one Saturday per month September to December 2009 and January to April 2010.
- The first lecture is on 26th September, 2009.
- Examinations take place in April, 2010.

The Course Fee is €890.
