2011 / 2012 EDUCATION / STUDY NEWS
As you are aware the Irish Branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers has been very successful,
over the last number of years, in providing lectures for students who wish to improve their educational
qualifications and become members of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
Accordingly, I have pleasure in attaching Flyer for our upcoming lectures at Dublin City University.
These lectures whilst primarily aimed at students who wish to sit the Foundation Diploma or the Advanced Diploma
are also suitable for students who wish to take their full PQE’s (Professional Qualification Examinations).
They cover the following modules – Introduction to Shipping, Shipping Business, Port Agency and Liner Trades.
This year we are also pleased to offer a series of lectures on Economics of Sea Transport & International Trade.
These lectures are suitable for students who have already embarked on their course of studies and wish to obtain full membership of the Institute.
Lectures commence on the 17th September, 2011 so I would be grateful if you can complete and return
the attached Registration Forms to me by 1st September, 2011.

Aged 61 he joined the Institute from the Royal Navy in 2001 and by his enthusiastic energy and commitment was responsible for the increased professionalism and International expansion of our Institute
