| In Ireland there are four options for Study:
1.The Irish Branch runs Courses each year in Dublin and Cork. These Courses primarily cover the Foundation Diploma and the Advanced Diploma but our students taking the Professional Qualifying Examinations also avail of these Courses. 2. Self Study – some students prefer to work on their own and the Irish Branch is always available to assist these students. Please click here for pdf of the ICS's recommended reading list . Alternatively, you can buy these books direct from Amazon here
3. Tutorship is the Institutes own Distance Learning Programme covering its syllabus and preparing students to take the Professional Qualifying Examinations (PQE), the Foundation Diploma or the Advanced Diploma.
The courses are designed to meet the needs of personnel in all Spheres of the shipping profession. Providing not only the necessary preparation for the ICS exams but also giving students an opportunity to broaden their understanding of the industry and develop career potential.
Tutorship Courses are written by specialists in their field and updated regularly.
4. E Learning is provided by Coracleonline, under agreement with the ICS. Coracle delivers expert professional development packages and training solutions for the Shipping Industry. Coracles blended and adaptable skills courses allows shipping professionals to easily integrate education and training into their work or home life.
