Registrations and Entry
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All candidates must be over 16 years old.


ENTRY PROCEDURE

1. Candidates need to Register as students of the Institute The registration year is from 1 June to 31 May.

Registration Forms need to be sent to the Institute by 17th February for all candidates

Once registered students may:
Attend Institute functions including branch events Receive The Shipping Network Journal
Apply for exemptions from some of the examinations

Registration as a student does not confer membership of ICS and students may not use initials after their names denoting that they are registered students of the Institute.

Registration fees are non-refundable.

This Registration Form DOES NOT enter you for the examinations

2. Candidates need to complete a separate Entry Form.

Examination Entry Forms need to be sent, together with the appropriate fee to the Institute by 18th February for all candidates.

Registration and Examination Entry Forms received after these dates will not be accepted.

Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit their Forms well in advance of the closing date and to ensure that they are acknowledged. No allowance can be made for any special circumstances or for any error or omission by the candidate, by a principal, by a parent or friend or by the postal authorities. Late entries will NOT be accepted. Examinations fees are non-refundable. Current EURO fees are available on request.
